A series of ten masks modeled after those in the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, France, each of which came from former French colonial territory.

These "ghosts" are replications of masks that have been removed from their indigenious societies and displayed in glass cases, rendering whatever original meaning they had or function they served largely inaccessible to those who view them.
